Our journey began long before the company itself. From 2006 to 2012, our founder worked as a Branch Manager for one of South Africa’s leading automotive rubber companies. During that time, extensive industry knowledge was gained across a wide range of applications — from classic cars, trailers, canopies, and caravans to military vehicles. If it involved automotive rubber, chances are it was part of the experience.
In 2012, the industry chapter closed — but the passion for cars never did.
Fast forward to 2020, during the uncertainty of the COVID era, the idea for something new began to take shape. That idea became Waverly Rubber — a company focused on supplying high-quality rubber kits specifically for vintage and classic vehicles. With a clear vision and strong industry know-how, a few simple Facebook ads were launched… and the response was immediate. Orders started coming in, and Waverly Rubber quickly grew from strength to strength.
Today, while our core focus remains full rubber kits for classic cars, our capabilities extend far beyond that. We are able to assist across almost every sector of the automotive rubber industry, offering reliable solutions backed by real-world experience.
